Well that was just absolute porn. How have we ended up on +16 gd when it seemed we were about 20 behind Spurs about 2 weeks ago.
Felt for sadio today I have to say.

Possibly but imho it was a very early sub and he was having a worldly game. As long as the competition between the 2 remains healthy and klopp can manage the egos which he seems good at I think it’s ok to show that emotion particularly after his dry spell. I’ve a feeling that behind closed doors klopp is a bit of a monster.
This was a great game, it had the system in a system with that tweak of Hendo or Gini (mostly Hendo) dropping deeper to support both full backs and Bobby playing higher up and the rotation of positions of the midfield 3 was well and truly back, one thing i loved was even on the short highlights on 3 or 4 of the goals, Keita Henderson or Gini were expert in their discipline, awareness and positioning steadfastly staying with their player for their planned transitions, absolutely loved that

Yep...but for the system we would have lost... As you say....you need to sacrifice your midfield to help out at the back and to be at 120% against this Palace side right now - or they will rip you a new one.
Just look at Villa..
I was more alluding to the tweaks to how we play in the last couple of games as in, it isn't a set way of playing 'one system one way of playing' so many throw around. There have always been these tweaks, it does appear that the majority seem oblivious to
I think it has been a challenge for Jurgen this season to drop the line and tweak things to enable us to play somewhere approaching our best utilising our best players and combinations as they operate at their most productive best and with the tweaks in the Spurs and Palace game it looks like he just may have found it
Fair play to Minamino, he got a chance, facilitated and complimented our play and long standing recognised movement and patterns of play while adding something a little different, something that although scoring i feel Jota has yet to do and the Atalanta game aside, we have yet to actually play well and everything else work when he's started, but with more time i'm absolutely certain that will come and getting Thiago fit would help that immensely
