Manchester Utd debt reportedly £443m. Thought/hoped it would be more than that.
They have a similar problem to us, in that having to keep pace with oil rich bottomless pits could get them into a real hole if they don’t keep an eye on it, though they still generate more money than anyone else in the Prem.
Totally agree Jozza
It does reward recklessness. Makes it easier for those clubs even though the debts eventually have to be paid (unlike the governments debt).
However, it does make borrowing almost free and therefore FSG could be in a position to profit from it by using debt as a means to cash flow. They can spend today and pay tomorrow.
If they think they need to schedule in big transfer payments they may be able to bring them forward.
However, their high wage bill may scupper those plans as I don’t think they can get round FFP rules, which aren’t based on debt or transfer fees but on balance of payments.
maybe newcastle can sign ben davies origi and a few others off us????
I mean they have to build gradually right? Give them keita and Ox too
100m for them all.
You buy 4, get them at a discounted price. instead of buying seperately.
Liverpools 4 for 3 offer. **** may come a bit damaged.
It will be interesting to see what the magpies do
In the winter transfer window. They won’t want to risk relegation so I can see them spending more than most.
