We can all lose it on occasion but I try overall to be reasonably balanced and accepting others’ opinions. I had felt a edge from you of late which is why it blew up the other day.

It was a serious comment Taksin, I rarely jump in on other’s fallouts but just on occasion it steps over certain boundaries that flick a switch.
I also understand we all have different parameters surrounding what we deem as acceptable and not, I just react as I see fit.

Fair do’s Miller. My point was that nasty and personal attacks go on here fairly often and they seem worse to me than being arrogant or pompous.
It was getting a bit much for my liking when defending someone from excessive attack was being called out as indefensible.
We do have differing moral standards but, by arguing about them, we imply that there is a correct standard to be found

No, just defending one’s own opinion is a natural reaction.
My opinion was that comments being made were belittling and condescending deliberately so, basic name calling doesn’t really resonate with me too much.
