Apart from this season (not enough fixtures played) he has featured in between 30-37 fixtures every season, 6 years in a row.
This season he is on 16 appearances, so is on course to match that, unless (injuries obviously too) Milan start playing someone else with a view to preparation for next season without him.

My thoughts exactly Legs.
Hes free, nailed on. Same with Dembele. Injury prone too and barely plays, another box ticked.
Theres usually a good reason players are on free transfers and usually never good ones.
Out of all free agents Zakaria is by far best option.
Ive left out Mbappe as its common knowledge he has already joined 😂
West ham being heavily linked to Gabriel Barbosa he was a wonderkid on FM a few years ago that's all I really know lol
they're very hit and miss with their signings are west ham
do they bring some rather interesting players to the league
Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern Munich and Juventus have opened talks with Antonio Rudiger’s representatives over a pre-contract agreement this month.
Newcastle now linked To botman but they apparently want 60m

True, weren't excellent performances.
Equally we could sink £40m-£60m on a Premier League player and it doesn't work out in the long-term. I'd rather go the relatively inexpensive/low risk route where possible with a view to then having money to spend on the absolute top priority targets.
If getting Kessie "for free" (obviously isn't, wages and agents and all that) permits us to get a really good striker in the Summer, or a really good midfielder like Bellingham, I'd definitely take it.
Milner and Ox out (age for one, injury-prone for the other) for Bellingham and Kessie in (as an example) would be great - Bellingham is young and talented, Kessie very resilient based on his appearances and also "only" 25 - it's a net improvement on that area of the pitch that helps with succession planning.
Where this ideology can wobble a bit (and it's where I do wish FSG would spend a bit more/take one or two slight risks) is if you continue to do the cheap signing, but never supplement it with the necessary "next step" sort of signing - they don't always have to be massively expensive, but in the past few seasons it's really been Thiago, Jota and Konate and if we even had ONE more signing under our belts of that calibre by now (either an upgrade on Origi/Minamino, or a midfielder if we shifted one or 2 of the EIGHT we have) then fan nerves would be eased and the squad would be that little touch better.
