We've achieved 32 out of a possible 36 league points, league Cup winners , FA semi final with a possible Champions league semi final all this since the turn of the new year. But some fella on LFCOnline reckons he could get us doing better !!
This style or way of changing style has led us getting this far. Jürgen is the man in the dugout. We can watch games from the stand or on TV but the game belongs at ground level. That is where it happens. Some managers have tried the more remote approach and copious video studies but the best managers see fit to remain in the dugout There is a reason for that and that only they understand.
Out of interest......
At the start of the season would you have taken a domestic cup double?
How will you feel if that's actually what happens?
He played a central attacking midfielder role behind our striker. With 2 wingers and a double pivot behind him.
That's a 10. A role which in the modern game requires a great work rate, real football ability and a capacity to operate in tight spaces.
Hendo has a great work rate but he's not enough of a footballer to play 10.
Not the first time this season he's been foisted into the role. Not the first time it's killed us in games.
You can argue with the data on average positions all you like, the last time I corrected you on a statistical fact it was because your rain man like mind failed to count 1+1 properly ffs.
