Or more to the point, have they had any?

Some people just love to bash players for the sport of it.

Nunez fluffs chances but creates havoc for defenders. Goals are what we all want but he wears down the center backs.

Reminds me of the grief Mo gets if he doesn’t score. Never mind he exhausts the left side of the opposing defense and creates chances for others plus assists. One day he will be greatly missed.

You can see Trent, Szoboslai and Macca all beginning to get used to each others play. Very fluid, very creative.

I like the adjustment from Salah and the acknowledgement that Darwin is quick. They seem to be on a good wavelength.

He missed 2 sitters mate. That’s the reality of it. Yes we got lucky that it rebounded in but it often doesn’t happen like that. He should have buried the chances especially the first 1. He’s been moving well to get the chances though I agree.

I mean, he's not the only player who's missed sitters in this game. Come on.
So why is he the target of being bashed?

At least his miss resulted in a goal.

And the second one (if you're referring to the one that hit the bar), was anything but a sitter. He had to lift it to get it high enough over the (tall) Villa goalie Martinez just for it to have a chance of going in at all and it's a wonder he even got the bar.

Diaz had a shot that was nowhere near scoring and a couple of other shots straight at Villa defenders bodies even when he had teammates open for a pass and better shot.
While Mo, on the other hand hasn't had any chances or at least shots on goal.

But yet it's Nunez that's coming in for all the stick
