Listen I, like everybody else, am concerned about how we will cope without Salah, however there are some mitigating arguments that may well provide some comfort.
When Salah plays he is always the focal point of our attacks, which is not a bad thing most of the time, but it can make us slightly predictable and if as an opposing team you can nullify Salah, you generally nullify Liverpools attacking threat.
In midweek we played West Ham without Salah and we looked more of a threat going forward at times and I think it is because the supporting cast all raised their game as a result. Now this isn’t the first time this has happened and the most famous one was against Barca, no Salah, no Firmino and no Robertson and no problem… yes Salah will miss some key games but hopefully we will have Jota back and Gakpo and Nunez will raise their games and start to remember what their job is and where the fucking goal is … lol!!
