Lots to be happy about, scope to get better.
On the subject of the League Cup - if we do get past West Ham (which won't be an easy fixture, they have a trophy appetite now after the Europa Conference win) who would folks rather face later in the Tournament - Chelsea or Newcastle?

Also - would people rather face the side of their choice in the Final or in the semi-final with the two-legged format?

Table looks good - hopefully that lasts.

We have won 3 out of our last 6. I would prefer it were the opponents a little more awe inspiring though.

    Spurs
    Brighton
    Everton
    Forrest
    Luton
    Brentford

Home form seems to be the key so far this season, and long may it continue.
Yes we were absolutely robbed blind at Spurs but there have been other games this season that went for us despite adversity - Newcastle in particular and Nunez was the reason.

If we get past wham, then I'd take the tougher opponent in the semifinal & Port Vale in the final.

Looking at recent results v opponent's, and v managers, think I'd like us to swerve Chelsea and get Newcastle if we're to meet either one.
Newcastle a tougher opponent on paper.

My guy says get past wham and it's ours

After the weekends results for our rivals the odds have altered again

    City 2.10
    LFC 3.00
    Arsenal 4.00

For me it really feels like a 3 horse race:

My gut says LFC 40%, city 35%, arse 25%

My head says 35% for LFC & city, 30% Arse

On stats to date, Arse should be ahead of city (excluding points on the table), but they are not ahead of city.

The professional have offered odds as outlined here, that are off kilter with a sensible interpretation of the data.

I'll bump the other thread with the video from JRE

For those not too bothered watching, the kick off predict results and tot up the points. Iirc...

    LFC 90
    Arse 88
    City 86

A tight title race with 3 teams finishing within touching distance of each other.
