Unfortunately, the Atalanta performance aside, we have been performing easily well enough to beat the likes of Man City, we should have beaten Utd twice at Old Trafford, and we certainly should have beaten Palace, but our profligacy in front of goal has really cost us dear.

In any other league, we wouldn’t be too worried, but City are just a machine and ours and Arsenal’s result on Sunday has just allowed City in…and every one knows thats probably going to be fatal for both us and Arsenal.

All we can do now is brush ourselves down and come out fighting, this certainly isn't the time for this Liverpool squad to start feeling sorry for themselves, they need the mentality monsters we all know is within them, to re-emerge and make one last push for the line…what better way to start than over in Italy.

Everyone believes we are out, so in effect we have a free hit on Thursday…so lets just give it everything we have got and see what happens, can you imagine the lift that could give the squad for the remainder of the season if we actually pulled it off…

Also if this match does prove to to be Klopps last European match, surely its better we die trying than his last match being a really damp squib, he bloody deserves better than that…
I second that notion BPF. As the Geordies say "it's nee awa' till it's awa'".

I'm over for the last match against Wolves. I've hired a cherry picker and some good exterior paint to go over them murals of him.
I think it will be well received by all.

Just want reiterate, I wish Jurgen Klopp wasn't leaving at all. But i can understand why. 9 years is a hell of a long time. under immense pressure.. He will be remember as a great for our great club and quite rightly so. if it wasnt for the cheating going on. on and off the pitch.we would have won more titles.. And you can tell he despises the officials just like most of us. apart from weeee jimmy krankie who calls us "conspiracy clowns"
be a sad day when he finally does leave..

It's one of my frustrations over the past few years, that we don't adapt our setup to maximise what is at our disposal.

Palace beat us with a back 3, Clyne and Lerma playing left & right centreback. We won a game a few years back in a similar setup with Gini & Can playing left & right centreback. Using an excess to maximise what was at our disposal.

From the horses mouth. How this manager has made successive squads better than the sum of its parts.

ONLY a lack of being able to go again in the market after winning number 6 - standing between him and 2 or 3 times more success in the big tournaments.

It is still possible a new man could come in and do what Paisley did, that’s why making the next manager a continuity & evolution one is required

The idea of ripping up all that Jurgen has built with a new man with a different formation and ideas disrupting our development on all levels is so utterly ridiculous
