2 years without a top addition

If only there was someone they could spend a tonne of money on, due to the corona impact on transfer values its ever more difficult with it knocking millions off player values.

But look at 2018, has anyone ever bought five such high profile players in one year and got them all absolutely spot on.

By the looks of it the failure of Balotelli was a turning point on our transfers. Something major changed and literary everything after they touched turned to Gold.

Summer 2012. Wow that was bleak. As bad as my holiday in Bulgaria at the time.

His were the goals that got Mourinho sacked weren't they? That is worth his price tag in itself

Thank you Bournemouth for £35m haha

A lot on the list we got the money back or more. Or we got pretty good value.

Even with Sakho and Benteke we got some money's worth, and the money back.

    Worst

    Balotelli
    Carroll
    Markovic

I guess Markovic the winner tbh.

    Cissokho was awful tbh.
Charlie Adam too but the corners were worth 8m and that penalty. At least Noods got a free ball.

Since 2016 most targets and buys have been sensational.

Add them up , then their value today. That must be some markup !
