    Standard of the league

Is the standard of the league really that good? when you have 2 teams constantly finishing with 90+points total.
when most teams are incapable of passing from a-b? Villa lost 3 goals in 5 minutes.. Simply because they didn't adapt quick enough to the change in tactics..
Most teams have f all quality going forward on the counter attack either. It always breaks down against City and against us.
Tottenham and Chelsea play defensive most of the time.Thats why they will never compete for the title.
Tuchel blaming Lukaku when its clear hes not technically good enough too run forward on the break.

This isn't a gripe from because we again just failed to win the title. But its ridiculous to think you get fk all help from the rest of the league and to win a title you need to get points totals well into the 90s.

At least norwich are back down and thuggy burnley......

Norwich will probably be back again after next season somit needs to change, not sure how though but it's getting boring.

A good Barometer I guess would be to compare to when you think it was strongest.

04/05 - 08/09 was probably one of the strongest periods, but then you have to delve into those who finished 5th-10th and try to compare for example.

Not an easy one to answer.

This season we have only lost against (1) West Ham when a foul on Big Bear was unpunished, also a Red Card wasn't given early in the first half - Cresswell?
    (2) Leicester when the first team had an (enforced) extended break around Christmas, and just weren't up to speed.
Other than that we've played well and/or pretty much dominated every side we've come up against.
Jizzfest - two draws that we might have won, Chelsea - ditto.
Can't recall any side that we have struggled against, per se.

    The league is strong.

Need only look at the teams performances in Europe over the last few seasons.

City & Lfc the top2 dogs in the league simply are benefitting from the quality in their squads and managers.

For me we've room for improvement.
    More tactical variance is essential
and better rotation of contributors to the team.

Would have liked to see us drop Salah and get Taki into a 4231 when Salah was stinking the place out of it.

Be interesting to see what happens in the summer.

Think we really have to win the CL to cap off a fine season with a/the major title.
