That David Coote was the official against Man-united away last season and allowed the clear foul on Origi. He was also the ref in the Burnley home fixture at the end of last season. It's not even his natural position and yet when he's called upon to fill in and play there, you'd think he was born playing there with just how well he fits like a glove there.

There was one sequence when the Ajax players were running circles around our defense and working their way into a shooting position in the box right up until they came up to Fabby and he just stops an Ajax player mid-dribble cold, and just coolly clears it out of the area.

He did that multiple times against Werner when we played Chelsea, too.
He's no chump and right now is providing the stability we badly need in that backline.
