we're now into the middle of November with a International break and we've only played 8 games. When are we going to play all the league games If we progress in Europe ? Throw in the FA Cup and the fixture list is going to be mental.
2 games a week from here on in ?

Without having looked at the actual fixture list, this looks most likely.

The good leveller is the fact that the other top teams will be in the same position as us. It then comes down to who copes best, and who has the fewest injuries will also be a factor.

Injuries are going to get worse any wonder we're looking to increase subs to 5. It makes sense for all the teams, players are going to get run into the ground come the New year.

Who has to approve 5 subs, Premier League or UEFA ?

Must be Premier league if we are the only ones not allowing 5.

Thanks Steveo, it didn't know they had 5 subs in other leagues.

Every other league in Europe has five substitutes this season apparently.

I’m a bit torn about it to be honest. On Sunday for example, Manchester City only used one substitute, and we only used two and one of them was forced. When we had 5 subs at the end of last season, Klopp regularly bought on players for the last 3 minutes. It all seemed a bit pointless.

This, this, this.

I know there's a calculated gamble to be had, but if we go full strength against Atalanta and get a win, we open an incredible opportunity for ourselves to get some players rested a touch.

No one should have to play a European game on a Wednesday night then a Premier League game at 12:30 on a Saturday.
It’s just plain common sense

Absolutely but as we all know this isnt new. It's been going on for the last 20 years. Nothing will be done about it no matter what's said by managers.

We play Spurs at home on Wednesday 16th , Palace on the 19th away then we don't have a game until West Brom at home on the 27th. So a bit of a break for the lads at Christmas, Which will be well needed.

Not a bad run into the Christmas break, a b-team for the Midjies and Fulham first.
