Week 14 results
The final set of fixtures before Christmas came and went, and for the second week in a row the majority of the league managed to get at least one score spot on, with ten out of fourteen participants managing to correctly predict the score in at least one game. However also for the second week running the majority of the league failed to correctly predict the results in more than fifty percent of the games. As a result of this nobody managed to get into double figures, though three members just failed to do this. The three that managed this (and in the process were this week's joint winners) were Dicko1969, Ianlfc and Redebreck who will all have to share the top spot of the podium this week after they all top scored with nine points apiece. Despite not having top spot to themselves, this week's winners should count themselves a tad fortunate as five others were the next biggest scorers, with each of them scoring seven points. If they had been in joint second or third they would have had a job fitting themselves onto the podium and not falling off and in the process joining me nursing a sprained ankle, or perhaps even a broken bone or two.
This week's special mentions go Ianlfc and Redebreck for being the only people to get more than one scoreline spot on, and Dicko1969 who managed to correctly predict seven correct results this week, though unfortunately for him he could only convert one of those correct results into a perfect score.

Current standings
The final week before the festive period has come and gone, and whilst some are interested in who is top of the pile at Xmas, be it in the PL or in the music charts (or what happens to pass for 'music' these days), we are much more interested in who is/will be top of the predictions league at this time of year. This might be of interest to some given that last year's champ Reddownunder was top at Xmas. I may have done the same on my way to winning the title the previous year, however because the results/table for that week has been deleted there is no way of knowing for sure.
So who is at the summit looking down on everyone else, rubbing their hands together in anticipation of being crowned the 20/21 predictions league champion? Well the person that has that honour is someone who could end up creating a dynasty, as occupying top spot at Christmas this year is the current LFC Online score predictions league champion Reddownunder.
Take a bow son. Take a bow.
A point behind the leader and in joint second are last week's leader CCTV, and Charliev. Skyebo moves up a place into the last CL spot, whilst Redebreck continues his assent up the table, and he now occupies Balinkay's EL spot (no Xmas cheer for you this year my lad ;)). Elsewhere Ianlfc makes sure of not being bottom at Christams courtesy of his joint week winning total, and he'll now be able to start looking up, rather than down. Contrast that with the fortunes of yours truly, who will be doing the exact opposite after having a shocking week (possibly my worst ever), which has caused me to drop FIVE places!
