Awful for us really probably forced into playing a strong tram now

Why is that awful ??
It's a f*&^% great fixture !!
What do you think Red Cafe is saying right now ?
Let's knock em out, put a strong side out.
We will do the double over them in quick succession

Oh fucking hell.

This is what, 1/16th final? And we get United? Fuck that. Away from home too...

worldpanel
11th January 2021, 08:23 PM
...and I presume we'll get City or Arsenal in the 5th round
About to find out....

Won’t matter if we’re out having played half a team of kids at OT mate

Last time we played Doncaster at home in the FA Cup we tied 2-2 but went on to win it in 74 IIRC

So we’ll have had Villa, Utd and WHU just to get through the 5th round.

11th January 2021, 08:28 PM
Let do them twice in a week.

Man City always seem to get decent draws in the cups.

Yep that Villa was a serious side - some of them were back at school today... :D

Because with our injuries we could have done with an easier tie to rest players.

Man Utd fans are probably thinking the same as me.

Yes let’s ask the FA if they could intervene - tell them Klopp isn’t being backed enough by the owners and we have a few injuries - could yous please let us play Scunthorpe in the next round so we can give Keita a chance?

What the fcuck has happened to half of you lot..? We can beat them at the Toilet !!

ianlfc

Since Jurgen has been with us he's drawn premier league teams 17 out of 26 draws.

Should be a win win for many on here.

So desperate for Ole to stay at the Wheel.

If they do the double over us league at Anfield and Cup at Old Trafford - you can all pat yourselves on the back in the knowledge that - the Norwegian one - won’t be going anywhere...

miller0863

Talking about the draw Steveo not the last minute necessity for Villa to play the kids

17 out of 26 Premier League teams when we hardly ever get to domestic finals is pretty telling

We need momentum, and you get that from beating sides like United

Yes we can beat them didnt say we cant but lets stop pretending its a good tie for EITHER team its not.

Only people delighted at this is City Chelsea Spurs.

@ Miller

I know mate but that is the luck of the draw.. Or so we are told. Either way - we have faced relative nobodies in 2 of the last 3 seasons and got dumped out. Might be the tonic we need to get up for it.

Thank fuck! They might get their shite together if they got a decent manager.

Think Man City have played against Prem opposition 4 times in the last 10 years... Or something daft like that

But in that time, only 2 FA Cups.

Just 'woke up' to the news.

It's a good job FSG have provided us/Klopp with a top notch squad than can compete on multiple fronts against many of the world's biggest and richest clubs, and a squad that can cope with a few injuries and a loss of form in a player or two.

If you don't want to play against, and beat those fuckers at every turn then what are you doing with a Liverbird on your chest?

Let's get at them and smash them in league and cup. Great draw.

I know it’s the luck of the draw but we are on a hell of a run of bad luck.

Re team selection, no coincidence that City have consistently gone all out in the domestic cups but failed to even reach a European final, whereas we have consistently rested the majority of first choice players but reached 3 European finals in 4 years.

Haha.

miller0863
11th January 2021, 09:18 PM
The reason we are not happy is that we need to rest players in the domestic cups until the latter stages if we reach them.

Nothing to do with “yeahhh let’s smash ‘em”
“Let’s do ‘em twice in a week”

Normally if it was the Champions League or League games then yeah bring it on.
It’s about the relevance of the competition in a very very congested season when we have been crippled with injuries

Think Klopp was jumping up and down in his Lounge shouting “yeahhh bring it on let’s smash ‘em” ?
I very much doubt it

Looking at the schedule of fixtures the cup match is 24 hours after the league match against Burnley. Shirley that can't be right??

It'll be rescheduled. I'm sure FifPro would crucify the FA and PL if the forced us into that mad a schedule...
