Week 22 results

Well last week certainly wasn't great, and you would have been forgiven for thinking that the only way was up, however this week has proved what I have been telling people for years, just when you think that things can't get any worse, they somehow find a way to do just that.

This week could have gone down as one the worst on record (if not the actual worst) had it not been for two participants showing others how it should be done. The two people sharing top spot this week, laughing their heads off at the ppp's (pee poor performances) put in by almost everyone else are Kev0909 and Redebreck who top scored with nine points apiece. The only other contestants who can look others in the eye this week are Fayyazms and Skyebo who finished joint third, with each of them scoring six points.

This week's special mentions of course go to Kev0909 and Redebreck for being the only people to get more than one scoreline spot on, but both get extra credit with Kev being the only person to correctly predict the Leeds v Everton score, but especially redbreck who was the only person to correctly predict the Sheff Utd v West Brom and Newcastle v Crystal Palace scores. Fayyazms also gets a nod for correctly predicting the Fulham v Leicester score.

Current standings

After finally overhauling Skyebo at the top of the table, Reddownunder would have been looking to kick on in the defense of his title, however he was one of the group that this week put in a poor showing, and combined with Skyebo partially arresting his alarming loss of form that now means that the latter is back on top, two points ahead of both Reddownunder and Kev090, who himself moves up into third on his own as a result of his joint week winning total.

Fayyazms drops down to fourth, and in doing so pushes Balinkay out of the CL places and back into the comfort zone of the EL spot he covets so much. Redebreck jumps up four places as a result his joint week winning total, and he'll now be eyeing up one of the European places, if not the title itself.
