Arsenal's hopes of retaining Folarin Balogun beyond this season are fading.
The Gunners have been trying to tie down highly-rated teenage striker Balogun on a new deal, reviving discussions towards the end of last year.
Manager Mikel Arteta is keen to keep hold of the 19 year-old whose current contract expires this summer.
