    Nabil Fekir

Been watching him tonight, playing away in Ukraine in the Champions League, playing in a blizzard and the lad has been absolute class. Non stop work rate, real quality on the ball and hes just received the ball in a tight space in the penalty area, surrounded by defenders and finished with aplomb in the top corner.

Signing him might well be a risk because of his knee but not because of ability. We have chucked away tens of millions over the years on terrible players like Markovic and Aquilani, the latter being both crap and made of biscuits. Fekir looks well worth the risk, maybe with a reasonable appearance clause but he has gone at it tonight in terrible conditions and been easily the best player on the pitch.

    Sign him up in Jan.

    Can he play CB?

Seriously though, he would be a great signing. I still think we should have signed him last summer. I guess he’s cup tied for the Champions League, but he would certainly help our Premier League aspirations. Can’t see it happening mind.

It was obvious why Klopp wanted him, he pressed like Bobby on crack.

Imagine playing as the opposition - get past Mane, Firmino and Salah, only to be greeted by Keita and Fekir, then if you beat them Fabinho is ready - you can try playing someone in out wide in a foot-race against Trent or Robertson, or take the even more foolish option of beating Gomez and the Mountain that is Van Dijk. If by some miracle you've reached this level, the Final Boss is Alisson and he seems to be thinking two moves ahead. There's no plugging your Controller into Port 2 to work your way out, so you fail.

You're then back to Square One, knwing that chances will be scarce.

How demoralised our opponents would be! I'm all for it!

To be fair, I think most living people would need their ligaments - so it'd have to be a real die-hard fan to donate them to a player!

why would we need him?? we have Shaqiri Lallana and Oxlade when he comes back.. Mentioning Lallana, he has the rest of the season to prove himself. Or I can see him going in the summer.

Because Klopp isn't madly in love with Shaqiri, and Lallana is made of biscuits, and Oxlade is an unknown quantity after his injury, and the Liverpool juggernaut waits for no man.

Ok, but your taking a massive gamble on his fitness. his knee is a mess. Why pay out 50 million for a player who's career could be over in a blink of an eye? let someone else take that risk
