I know Clemence scored in a shoot out, but I'm not counting that as it was the charity shield.

Reina assisting a few goals was just as good as scoring. Best distribution I’ve seen from any of our keepers

First to score in our history, only the 6th in Prem League history.

Peter Schmeichel, Brad Friedel, Paul Robinson, Tim Howard and Asmir Begovic

Does anyone know if it's been done in the League pre-Premier League?

Sky are awful for only talking about "firsts" since 1992. Appreciate that with certain statistics they'll only go back so far due to lack of footage, but you'd imagine something like a goalkeeper winning a match would be easy(-ish) to find out, unlike how many tackles a player made in a match in the 1970s.

Pat Jennings scored for Tottenham from a long clearance against Man utd, in a charity shield game, before it was played at Wembley 1967 I think. Stepney scored a few penalties for Man utd as I recall.

We may not have won anything this season, but considering the hurdles we had to overcome, my bloody word, what a result.

Hopefully the start of another European journey.

Yep - all things consisted a
very positive end to the season from what looked like a lost cause.

Good vibes for next season. Need to get big Virgil back to full fitness now. Keep our best players and add some more genuine first team players.
