I look at Man-united. Maguire is not a title winning centre half. Wan-Bissaka though a good defender. Offers less than nothing going forward.
Their midfield is crap. Ive never been a huge fan of Pogba I think the frenzy around him and the hype is way over the top.
their attack is decent. But attacks will win you games it may not win you leagues.. Last season. It was our defence and midfield over all that won us the title.
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century

But in relation to their failure in Gdańsk...and after finishing 5 points ahead of us... No - it’s a case of have a chuckle. That’s all - from my perspective at least.

There was also spin of how Neville was trying to oust FSG too..? An attempt to reframe ‘uncle John’ as the good guy.. WTF? That was interwoven into the joy of their loss - as though us finishing 3rd can be attributed to the ineptitude of the owners.

In the words of Victor Meldrew... “I don’t believe it...”

I know they are fluffing their lines - and long may that continue BUT just a few weeks ago United were genuinely in a position where a league title ( mathematically )and a European final win was on the cards.

The timing of this thread ( late January 2020 ) coupled by our own relative demise and United’s semi renaissance is not to be sniffed at...
Just a few weeks ago United were genuinely in a position where a league title (mathematically) .... was on the cards.

What fuckin planet are you on ?

Yes, it does, replying to your posts where
manu are likely to have more titles over the last decade than us in 2 years time
Where ole is maybe the next Ferguson
Where united were genuinely in a position to win the league (mathematcially)
^ that last one is a fucking peach

    Genuine title challenge.... mathematically possible....

Ergo we were no more than 5 points away from being genuine title winners a few weeks back
