I still think the United board will be confused if the current manager under-performs and will struggle to know what to do next

They’re neck and neck on everything.
Neck and neck eh? On squad depth inherited, VAR calls and penalties given as well Gary?

Ronald's wages will dictate how much patience Utd will have from now on

Why? The pay DeGea an absolute fortune and he has been gash for years. Ronaldo just joins the list of overpaid players at United. Only difference is he is still very good.

United will expect to be at the top now and they are playing huge money to keep Ronaldo. OGS will be gone if they're not challenging

He is. But can he play in the middle of the park were they really need a top class player ?

I could be wrong, but the way Neville and Rio scramble to protect he who doth not break the Wheel, but resideth behind the Wheel would suggest that as long as he stays Top Four and aren't absolutely whooped in Europe, he'll get a bit more time.

Let be honest, OGS is like Brendan, he has stars that will carry him. They will be up there and competing. No further demise in my opinion. Hate to say it, but they have an extremely strong squad now
