Funny in a way but Smalling is probably now their best defender.
Where is he now? Is he in Italy?

Was on loan at Roma. Think they're desperate to buy him.

The loan ended I think, he should be back now. Ole must not want him back in.

Apparently United had everything agreed with Thiago (by Fergie) for a £17m transfer back in 2013 only for Moyes to "not know enough about the player" and cancel the deal.

The gift that keeps on giving.

If they got rid of Ollie how much would the new guy want to spend ?
    £300m £400m?
And how long would he be allowed before success?

There's a reasonable amount of quality in that team tbh. Not enough to win the league but definitely put in more consistent performance than they have been.

Which manager would they go for? I dont get the hype that surrounding poch. It was basically harry kanes goals that got spurs into the top 4.
So tell me a manager that would take Man-united any higher? and have to deal with the facts they don't get any time at all. Its an instant win or they are under pressure.

It looks like they're going for it ( league cup ) judging by the team he's put out and that's with making 10 changes from the Palace defeat. Only Maguire has kept his place.
If you're not sure what to do with the ball, just put it in the net, and we'll talk about the other options later... Bob Paisley.
