The precedent I think is Champion's League qualification. If they win their game in hand they're not terribly far off the pace despite everything, plus if they "drop down" as it were to the Europa League it oddly opens another door for them.
I'd be surprised if he got the boot before they mathematically can't attain 4th spot or higher.
On 'TalkS**t' a number of their twadge presenters (namely Andy Mouldstein) like to mention that we apparently had spent a billion pounds during the PL era before we managed to win it, though I'm not even sure if that's net or gross spend.
However they barely (if ever) mention how much both sets of Mancs have spent in the last eight or so years alone, with one of them not even coming close to winning the league given their huge spend, whilst the other have not come close to winning the CL.
9 away wins
2nd half performances
And coming from behind
9 consecutive away wins
Thought this thread may turn funny at some point, not sure why we have a 75 page thread about man utd but oh well
I've always thought creating such threads are tempting fate a bit too much for my liking, but I suppose what will be will be. It just gives opposition fans the possibility of having a good laugh when things don't pan out as you hoped, as I've seen in regards to threads about us on some of our rivals forums.
