They are still giving mmr vaccines at the gp, just in a covid secure environment. The only babies they're not giving it too are the most vulnerable due to the risk from covid in hospitals.

For one game atleast. Cant imagine any area in tier 2 isnt rapidly falling into tier 3 with pubs open and 2k people in attendance at matches.
The whole thing is bulllshit. Hancock saying "dig deep" is patronising. Fuck off will you.
I feel for anyone who owns a business in the leisure and hospitality industry. They must be frantic with worry.

That's super unfair. We'll have but 4% of the fans we normally do but City will have upwards of 90.

More arbitrary measures without any scientific backing, proof or even basic honest reasoning. Who is making these decisions, based upon what data?

If you think we are in the midst of a scientific response, consider this reflection from the New England Journal of Medicine, looking at the efficacy of masks in hospitals (never mind in the wider society).

"It is also clear that masks serve symbolic roles. Masks are not only tools, they are also talismans that may help increase health care workers’ perceived sense of safety, well-being, and trust in their hospitals.

Although such reactions may not be strictly logical, we are all subject to fear and anxiety, especially during times of crisis. One might argue that fear and anxiety are better countered with data and education than with a marginally beneficial mask, particularly in light of the worldwide mask shortage, but it is difficult to get clinicians to hear this message in the heat of the current crisis."

Masks are talismans in the religion of superstitious anxiety. Limitations on football attendance will be ritualised acknowledgement that the government's anxiety causing propaganda is true.

City won't be allowed any fans. Manchester is in tier 3.
If you're not sure what to do with the ball, just put it in the net, and we'll talk about the other options later... Bob Paisley.
