That was New Labour or rather Blue Labour, which disastrously is what we have again with Starmer leading the party, the entire Brexit and Indyref thing came about because Blair's Labour and the Tories were so closely aligned and there was no choice for change

We are also talking 25bn a year, plus that fraudulent cunt Blair introduced the QUango groups, which involves Tory type cronies getting paid millions of our money for making decisions on things they have no experience of with zero consultation with the people who actually do the frickin job

Honestly that isn’t true. If you are citing Blair’s New Labour - they were a shit show yes and far closer to Tory’s in drag than any kind of Labour Party. Socialists they were most Definitely not...But still nothing like as bad as the Tory’s.

You cannot compare their effect on the NHS with the asset stripping and privatisation by stealth under every Tory government since the NHS was founded.

It astonishes, upsets and really fucking pisses me off that 90% of people in the UK are so fucking thick that they can't see they've been being robbed absolutely fucking blind by the Tories and Blair's Labour for the past 40 years. How can they not get that privatisation isn't actually privatisation, that in almost all cases they,, the taxpayer still pay for all the infrastructure, upkeep and maintenance and the Tories hand their mates over the odds contracts for all of that to rob them of billions

You get cunts who read the fucking Mail hating n other working class people who have fallen on hard times and anyone foreign, everyone and anyone that shithouse of a rag tells them robs the taxpayer of money, when tax evasion and avoidance costs the public purse billions more than all those things combined each year and that fucking rag moved it's HQ to Bermuda to avoid paying UK tax, you honestly couldn't make it up, fucking morns

As an 'expert' on the subject I can tell you for a fact that the NHS is **** and has been getting worse under various Govts.

The concept was superb. It actually originated in the town where I live (Tredegar). Unfortunately successive greedy and corrupt governments (mainly Tory) have just about destroyed it.

** with help from a aging population
    ** and a bigger population
** more things treatable which is great obviously but hospitals have to have people stay in normally for a while costs money, people live longer
** more advanced drugs/equipment needed that cost the bomb

back in the day, it must of been a lot cheaper to run, than it is currently

I don't disagree with what any of you are saying, but there's other factors too

It's crazy some of the costs when you look into it, in a stay in hospital (obviously depending what) if you had to pay here I think i'd just die because I'd never be out of debt, never be able to afford anything - and probably would have to live with some sort of life-changing change if it was that bad, which would make it near impossible to work.

I can't imagine it getting any better sadly after the coronavirus spending- even that must cost a lot to keep people there, and then obviously all the PPE etc etc delayed appointments, more backlog list goes on

    On the ageing population
That has increased the uk population by 5million over the last 30 years

    1990 57m
    2020 66m

If you have an increase of 5 million elderly people how many extra people of working age do you need.

    Massive problem in Germany too.

An aging population isn't the only problem. Too many people requiring/taking advantage of certain services, and not enough money to pay for the extra resources required.

It's why people like me can't get essential treatment(s), which for some includes life saving/extending treatment(s).

    Looking at 2019 stats

12.2 million people over the age of 65
    (Not working)

    15.5 million aged 0-19.

So more or less 28 million people not working.

Supported by 38 million people potential workforce.

I guess if there wasn't a migration into the UK many companies/ facilities/ services would not have enough people to serve the young old or unable.
