It looks like he finally snapped. Couldn’t bear to come on here all summer to be met with so much whining and self pity. And we got a refreshing dose of reality thrown in to the mix - better late than never

Yes true, was going to mention him but it would mean pulling him away from his other duties.

Your kind of reality maybe. Doesn’t mean your version of realism is anymore more real than Justme’s.
It actually gets on my nerves far more reading posts written as if we’re at the game (rah rah rah get behind the team) or in a way that suggests the players read our posts before going out onto the pitch.

Uber fan bell whiffery if you ask me. If you don’t like something come on here and discuss it, it’s what the Forum is for.
Differing opinions are what makes the place interesting.

Well it's not like we needed him last season. Plenty of cover in James Milner, Joe Gomez, Ben Davies etc
Very mixed feelings about that. Prefer players to get a good chance and he hasn't really, plus it puts more pressure on Robbo.

Would need to get the use of the recouped funds absolutely spot on for me to justify it. If we got £10m and that was the tipping point behind the funds for an extra 23-26 year old forward who can rotate and contribute immediately then fair enough, but in general terms I'd be unhappy about removing a specialist back-up in a position.

He made some good arguments / points about strategy, the state of the squad, stability etc.. I believe he also indicated he'd be happy to see new signings.. I find that refreshing given how this thread has become a doomsday consolation with still a month to go for the transfer window.

Nobody seems to change their mind on these matters - poor old Sid keeps posting very reasonable assessments of our situation but the moaning about how awful our predicament is just keeps on coming. I haven't bothered to comment for ages but I did find his attitude a breath of fresh air when I tuned in earlier.

I believe much of the moaning to be a little exaggerated and tongue in cheek.
I don’t think it necessary to suggest justme seek therapy for his apparent chronic dark mood based on his opinion of our current lack of transfer activity.

    Thanks Miller..

I've been on this site since 2011 this is the first year in all them 10 years that ive really been concerned about lack of transfer activity.. I mentioned it a bit last season. But right now its a massive worry for me. if one of our front 3 get injured for a lengthy period whos going to fill in??

It would be nice to hear a bit more positivity. justme in particular does not appear to have his tongue in his cheek - he seems to come on here most days to express his belief that the end is nigh. But he is not alone in his abject pessimism

For example, there is an assumption that Keita was a mistake, he's built of biscuits etc. he must be sold and replaced by someone better, along with replacing Wjinjaldum. These views are offered as a given. Meanwhile, all of a sudden he looks sharp in preseason and, crucially, Klopp has a close eye on him. The idea that a £54 million investment can just be written off is an armchair sportsperson's viewpoint. Maybe they know something about his fitness that we don't know. Maybe they do actually plan to sell him. We don't know. There could be all kinds of interesting things happening.

But the logical extension of these assumptions is that Klopp is being lumbered with players he doesn't want, can't offload and can't replace. That's, don't you know, because of our negligent owners. It's an opinion and its possible that it could be true but it's hardly verified at this stage and also it doesn't seem to fit with our recent history of squad building.

Eh that is CRAP. (sorry but it is_. I dont come on here with that attitude.. I am very positive in the aspects of us having Klopp. during our bad spell last year there was numerous chatters calling for him to go.. It was very bizarre... i was even attacked for standing up to them..
I think we have the best inside attackers in the league if not the world in Mane and Salah.
Its only recently i have been on about transfers and rightly so.. We need to invest in quality to keep us going forward..

Also, if we don’t get a new physio in soon, we’ll barely scrape a top ten finish.

Think Justme is more than justified to raise his concerns about a lack of movement in the transfer market. The whole “coming back from injury is like a new signing” is total bollocks. They are probably a lot more injury prone.

Get some new players in you dipshits or we’re fucked
