We're definitely going to need Phillips and one of Davies or Williams around next season. Gomez and Matip are guaranteed to miss sizeable parts of the season through injury and Konate's record isn't a whole lot better

Good player. Would be a decent signing actually. And a typical left field type that for some reason doesn’t cross our minds but seems obvious when it comes out in media. I’d actually like that to happen.

Konate in the bag, he can be an incredible player for us, having been a long time admirer of his footballing ability I had actually cooled on our signing him because of his injury record unless the club had him undertake strenuous medical checks and were 100% confident all was well, which according to media reports, they did, so boooooooooooooooooooom first great signing in the bag, now for the other four

I don't know much about Konate, concerns me that he was injured for a lot of last season and only managed 21 games!!

That's my concern as well. Time will tell.

Yup. Out of contract next month. Transfermarkt value €35 million. And right- footed.
Seems to have always bagged a decent amount of goals each season and for the Turk national team too.

Assuming that Davies is real human being and not a work of fiction, I would not be surprised (much as I'd miss him) to see Phillips sold while his stock is high, Davies kept (for now) and Williams loaned out.

Time will tell.

He is a good player but does his style suit the EPL ?

Pearce saying we arent fussed about signing a CM but that is BS he said that about Thiago too.

We will sign a CM and one forward possibly two depending on what happens with Origi (expect him to go) Minamino (not sure what we do with him)
