Both native to Rome, both came up through the youth ranks at Roma, both are 6ft 1 and Aquilani was 25 when bought by Rafa Benitez's Liverpool - with Pellegrini being 25 too - so oddly enough, yes.

By no means saying he's "the" answer as he isn't, but in 2,577 minutes of play with us (roughly 29 full matches, not that it works like this) Jones has accumulated 7 goals and 6 assists for us - hardly Earth-shatteringly brilliant, but not to be sniffed at either, particularly if he gets more match time and continues his development with the increased minutes he will be getting.
