Whilst it might not feel a necessary signing due to players coming back and Konate signing that could be a move we might regret.
He definitely showed enough to look like he would get better and be a solid defender

He’s young and did a good job after he got over the first few game nerves.
I think they wanted €23m which is around £19m.

Obviously Schalke got relegated and will want him off the books plus he didnt play much in the Euros to boost the price.

I think he is an excellent prospect and he seemed to enjoy his time here.

As he isnt homegrown that could be an issue unless we shift some out first.

If we’re shifting the likes of Origi, Shawn, Minamino and maybe matip, that would do right? at 12.5m seems a no brainier to me.

Yeah that would do mate it might be easier said than done to shift a few though !

We also need a CM and forward too.

We should have tried for a UK keeper in place of Adrian if honest.

Nick Pope! Keep Alisson on his toes!
And they can share their injury problems throughout a season whilst always giving us a top GK

That is very tempting price for a talent like Kabak i'd be all over it.
If we had the available space that's actually very tempting at that price, despite him not being the most natural "fit" as it were.

That would be most good but surely he would feature in enough games to keep his interest and promote his promise

Danny Ings return is now doing the rounds. A fit Ings is better than Origi imo.

Defo and Klopp loved his attitude and was sorry to see him leave. He has made a good case for rejoining.
