Supply and demand innit. We all have to have a certain number of English players and there ain’t enough good ones around, to fill the quotas.
Looks a decent defender to me, on today’s English player prices I reckon it’s about right.

Varane is a typical Utd signing, mega wages, big name. Hes obviously good but probably past his peak and let's be honest Real don't let players leave who haven't peaked or still have good years left in them.
He will certainly improve the Shit though that is without doubt. I'd piss myself if it fell through over the fee but it won't.
