    A
Liverpool could sell English centre-back Nat Phillips, 24, Welsh winger Harry Wilson, 24, Belgian forward Divock Origi, 26, Wales full-back Neco Williams, 20, and Switzerland midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri, 29, as they look to raise £60-70m. (Liverpool Echo)

    B
Liverpool have identified West Ham's 24-year-old English forward Jarrod Bowen as a potential transfer target. (Athletic, via Metro)
I'd be using the proposed departed wages from A to fund a better option than your B.

And annual profits is not the means by which FSG is making money out of its investment.

Ever since the left started thinking profits were evil and put pressure on governments to punish companies for having them, profits have started disappearing from large companies. This is confusing because, by law, a company must maximise profits for the benefits of its share holders. But now they have had to shield their profits from the tax man in order to maximise the company’s value, instead spending profits on development. This has been very bad for the economy generally, but that’s a different issue.

As far as I can tell, FSG takes nothing out of the club. They do not ‘drain profits’ and therefore do not drain the club. Their interest is to reinvest every ounce of revenue to the point of having no profits. Their model is to maximise the running of the club by making maximum use of its resources so that it will become extremely valuable at some future point.

If it is the man Klopp is after then it will be a Liverpool signing. Exotic names and players don't always do the business. He is quick, physical and aggressive on the press. Under Klopp anyone will improve. So if it is a player Klopp wants here then he will be boss.

    Weren’t they just.
Just not seen anything at all from Bowen to suggest he would be a good addition particularly for the numbers being quoted.

Having said that, we were all excited by Keita’s signing and nonplussed at Andy Robertson coming in.

    So wtf do we know??

Won't happen, but in the spirit of good fun -

Nabil Fekir could leave Real Betis this summer. Liverpool, Arsenal and Everton are all interested but The Reds are 'best positioned'. Betis could accept a bid of €40m this summer.
