Like Ian said yesterday he's got a feeling Saul will be signed. I too think we'll get him. Dont think we will get both, not expecting Chiesa at all.

I think Saul would be a good fit. The midfield looked flimsy far too often last season and from what I've seen of Saul he could occupy the no. 6 or 8 position and add a bit of steel. Another midfielder would allow Jones to go out on loan and get regular minutes which has really lifted Elliotts game for example.

As good as Chiesa was at the Euros (which was a sequence of seriously high-level performances) I am a tad wary given that his output at club level is good, but not mind-blowing - and the rumoured fees this Summer have been for figures like £86m.

Just doesn't "feel like" one we'll go for.

Problem being none of the cover is remotely like robbo stylistically so when he isn’t available one of our main attacking avenues effectively dissspears. I think Tmiskas should play every minute robbo doesn’t play at lb
