    Been linked with Thuram's son....

Liverpool are reported to have expressed an interest in signing Borussia Monchengladbach attacker Marcus Thuram.

The French star – son of World Cup winner, Lilian – has enjoyed an excellent debut campaign in the Bundesliga.

Having cost Gladbach €12m from Guingamp last summer, Thuram has scored 14 times and assisted eight more in 39 appearances.

Now rated at around €50m, German outlet Express claims Jurgen Klopp is keen on a potential deal.

While Liverpool do look unlikely to spend big this summer, Klopp has hinted they could yet make a transfer splash if the price was right.

Whether €50m Thuram will be that man remains to be seen. However, Express claims Klopp is keen on the 6ft 4in forward and believes he could offer something different to the Reds attack.

Thuram has largely played on the wing for Gladbach, but is capable of playing across the frontline. That would make the 22-year-old ideal cover for their established front three. He’d also offer something a little different from their current attacking options.

Liverpool, however, are not alone in their interest for Thuram. According to a report from Italian news outlet La Nazione, Fiorentina are also keen and showing interest in the attacker.

I've spent years here trying to bestow the virtues and mentality needed to land No19, to land No20 No7 and more you HAVE to always work hard to improve and invest in the right players to improve while improving on any weak links and chinks in your armour at the same time

We needed another top class forward who can play right across the line, Werner was that player, we let him go

We still need for certain types of games and more creative midfielder who can also fit in with our tempo hard work and pressing, Fabian Ruiz IS that player, he's this summers Fernandes, only he's better than Fernandes and can also offer the desired quality and competition and LCM, RCM, LFWD and RFWD so bringing him in would also go a long way to making up for missing out on Werner AND it absolutely would improve us. Lallana's gone, Shaqiri will be going, Wilson, Grujic, so we can absolutely stretch ourselves to land him and we desperately need to

We urgently need a new top class CB or to discover a miracle way to keep Matip free of injury as he is the only one of our CB's who is good enough to partner Virgil, Lovren's an accident waiting to happen and Gomez has been targeted as our weakest link successfully in too many games this season for that issue to be ignored

You DO NOT keep winning by standing still

Out: Origi, Lovren, Lallana, Shaqiri, Wilson, Grujic

In: Fabian Ruiz and a top centre back

Into the quad more frequently to play more: Brewster, Jones, Williams, Minamino

That will have to do with some restraint required as a result of COVID, we have to be brutally honest and continue to improve, all the outs just aren't good enough and never have been and never will be
Dont you think LFC are working hard ?
Liverpool has never stood still in its activities ever since 1892.

    Players come and go.
3 or 4 signings for the first team (probably the average)
Plus the youth team u18s ( probably 6 or 8)

This team will evolve. Right now it is world European and English premier league champions.

So why would it not try to improve.

Quite sure klopp and Edwards know exactly the plan without muppets spouting off bs.

I'm not disappointed in him or the way things have panned out in the league this season.

Nordsjaelland striker Mohammed Kudus is hoping for a move to Liverpool this summer, after an impressive season in the Danish Superliga – although the Reds haven't made contact over a potential move.

The 19-year-old has scored nine times this season in just 21 league games, while he is also capable of playing in midfield.
£8m likely to move to Ajax.

If we can get Ruiz in, then Ruiz, Minamino, Oxlade, Brewster, Jones and Elliott as attacking options is enough for next season for me, I'd let Origi go personally, he's been here 5 years now, if he can't facilitate the team functioning as it does at it's best by now, linking with the other forwards and midfield, linking with Robbo and Gini when at LFWD, it's time to go and for other players more capable of doing those things to be given their opportunities
