Conservatives cannot possibly win the next General Election.
    Can they?
There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief

Boris refusing to quit. Maybe he'll take the nuclear option and call a general election...then Keir Starmer will be fined for breaking covid rules and step down as Labour leader ...and the Conservatives will win?!

I watched Boris in that Liaison Committee grilling. I thought at times he appeared to be quite bonkers.
I am actually becoming worried about his mental health.

I'm a bit worried about the Nation's mental health - voting those clowns in for so many years!

Looks like he will quit as party leader, triggering a leadership election, but remain as PM until Autumn while they choose a successor...

Expecting a resignation speech imminently. Only got himself to blame.
Still needs about 4 weeks to remain as pm to last longer than Theresa may. At present he is on a par with Neville Chamberlain. Don't think party will let him stay on considering his bizarre almost trumplike behaviour over the past few days. Thought and acted like he was president or king. I wonder how he will handle this utter humiliation. Stories surfacing of Theresa may stepping in

This speech is expected at 12:30.
Boris has been desperately trying to fill ministerial voids this morning. Will he actually resign? Bizarre behaviour thus far by a bizarre man!
Out of interest does there always have to be a Downing Street cat ? Larry is a star!

It was widely understood that he would resign, and thankfully - he has!

Vintage Bojo speech. Full of bluster. Not acknowledging his own shortcomings and mistakes that led to his downfall. A ridiculous man. Who's up next?
