"Hendo and Joel trained yesterday with the team fully. Like always we have to wait and see overnight but they trained." - Klopp

With luck both will play. Matip beside Fabinho and Henderson in the midfield would give us a serious boost.

We live in hope - Ideally both Fabinho and Hendo playing in midfield - Matip could be omitted 20 mins before KO though..

Fab in the middle = a lot of our problems gone.

That backing into the defender is so fucking dangerous.

He'll keep getting away with it because he's from Engerlund.

    He could, sadly.

I think we should play him as often as we realistically can (every week, once a week) as we never know when he will get injured.

My hope is that he is available for the two Leipzig games and if we are fortunate enough to progress, that he is available for the quarter-finals, rinse, repeat.

A deep run in Europe would really help squad morale, team chemistry, plus (boring, I know) the accounts, which in turn helps us in future windows.

Him remaining fit and available for most of what's left of the season would be huge for us to be honest - we wait with baited breath and chomped fingernails.

True Sid... Or we go on a quest... a quest for the mighty Grail - to travel far and wide searching for ye defender of centerbackyness ( no not the one that smokes liquorice rollies ) who hast the knowledge to thwart the mighty Kane..

So, Fabinho missed the game through injury. Followed by Joel playing the first half, and then missing the second half through injury.
We now have a grand total of zero senior centre-backs available.
    Thank you FSG.

Matip would probably end up out for a while if he cut himself shaving.
