Milner will not play CB far too slow/small.

We still have Matip Gomez Fabinho Phillips Williams and Young Billy.

You could say Gini and Hendo would play before him.

It was only a matter of time, Virgil would get a bad injury. I didnt think it would be caused by an overrated goalkeeper. Pickford the scum bag, only had eyes for the player. I would say Pickford should banned for the same amount of time Virgil is out, but that would benefit them, playing without that clown. Pickford and Richarlison have short memories, what happened to their team mate Gomes when his leg was snapped in two. Bleeding cheating bitters, hoping for bad karma going their way. Weve been calling for a decent centre back partner for Virgil. Klopp decided to roll the dice, Matip and Gomez cant be trusted to stay fit or consistent. Going to be interesting how were going to cope. Personally think our defending will be a re run of 2013/14 season.

Cant disagree. Weve feared this moment for quite some time but like Steveo said weve been lucky with injuries the last 3 years or so.
You could say maybe if we get through to to the end if december in reasonable shape we'll go out in January and make a big splash for an all out assault on the league and CL but it wont happen. No fans money and Big John's big picture getting the elbow means no chance.

We all wanted the club to invest in a CB this summer even more so when Lovren went. Cannot fathom why we didn’t. Two goals conceded from headers today, not gonna be rocket science scoring against us while Virgil’s out.

Just got to hope everyone else remains inconsistent. We were way ahead of Everton today in quality, Virgil stays on the pitch we win comfortably, Pickford gets sent off, we win comfortably. Henderson’s goal not ruled out for a phantom offside and we win anyway.

Our first eleven wins the league or goes very close every season, when one of the when VVD or Alisson are out for any length of time it’s a different story, with both out it brings us back down to the top four or five’s level.

Hope this finally gets through to the owners, we don’t need 11 world class direct replacement, just a proper partner for Virgil and a decent back up keeper.
Should have done it in the summer, Adrian was culpable in the FA cup and Champions league last season, that should have been enough.

Really? I think it's quite obvious why 'we' didn't buy a quality CB when it was obvious we needed one.

He was to blame for their first goal as well. Straight at him and he punched it upwards back into his own net.Should have punched it away.

Butland going for 1m to Palace. He'd have been an excellent back up.
Agree about the CB , weve all known it and feared it for a long time. Klopp thinks the others can do the job, that's the sole reason we havent brought another one in.
We'll find out soon enough and hopefully theyll repay that faith. Matip and Gomez should be more than good enough, keeping Matip fit will be another headache to contend with.

That coot in the VAR room is bent has a meat skewer.. Let me guess he will end up being England's representative at major finals (if they get chosen at all). Just like Atkinson and Webb before him

I know i keep going on about it. But the VAR official today is seriously questionable. How can you get away with cheating like that? Its not a matter of incompetence like it will be claimed. Its a matter of cheating. Plain and simple.
