Don’t worry, Matip can never manage two games in a row anymore apparently so I think it’s Fab’s job to lose.

In fairness, this looks like a lineup that was put together in three days… which it was. I think we improved a bit towards the end of the half. I wouldn’t mind seeing Henderson for maybe the last 30 minutes if he can manage it.

Brilliant clearance by Fab there, really good half from him, midfield's been all over the show and the press and counter press hasn't been good, Jones is really anonymous played out of position AGAIN and Milner's stinking the place out, Jurgen obviously saving Captain fantastics legs for a long road ahead, but I wouldn't be at all surprise to see him for the last half hour of this one if the current midfield don't buck their ideas up in the first 15-20 minutes of the second half

HT 1-0 through a brilliantly worked goal

Over to Jurgen to work his half time magic as ever and make sure we're a lot better second half, particularly in midfield and in our press and counter press, correcting his own fuck up by moving Jones LCm and Millie RCM might be a good start
