Fabinho motm saved our arses, Jota looking like he could displace Bobby on form.

Wish Klopp would go 4231 for a while till we sort.ourselves out.

    3 points a good start

Well thank fuck that’s over. Let’s be honest, it felt more like league cup than Champions League.

But one word… Circumstances. Very happy with the three points, and glad to see Jürgen smiling again. I can’t wait to get Alisson back.
I bet you can squeal like a pig!

Great win and clean sheet to go with it.

Instantly forgettable game but points on the board away is all that mattered. Fab was outstanding and Gomez was good after a nervy start.

Great result against a very poor Ajax. In truth we were Very fortunate to keep a clean sheet.

    But we did... 0:1

Surely that’s got to be time for a rest for Bobby. Jota will make us much more of an attacking threat, Bobby has been utterly anonymous.

Motm Fabinho, I really don’t think he either lost a single challenge or gave the ball away once. Gomez had a better second half but his distribution remains erratic at best.
And that midfield three should only ever start again when taking the piss.

Agree about Firmino. Hes been shite for too long, a total non show tonight. Jota looked more threatening in that half hour than he has for months.

Robbo MOTM, really threatening and made sure that they stayed on the back foot whilst our midfield were poor.

Yes - will help a ton but can’t help thinking that Thiago is just as important - so many of our players look tired already - we are not creating the chances that are easy to take.

We're at a low point presently, let's see how we're going in the new year. Lots of room for us to improve, get me back too with a bit of luck.
