Think we have to cut the lads a bit of slack. playing a makeshift team away from home against a good experienced Ajax side. We rode our luck a bit but we have been having miserable luck lately.
Fabinho immense (looks to me like he is playing with a back injury of some kind).
Joe Gomez got better. maybe this run in the team without Virgil will be the making of him.
Andy Robbo was great. he is having a very energetic good start to the season on the whole i think.
Jota will be a first choice soon.
Williams looked up for it pretty well when he came on.

I strongly disagree with this sentiment.

I believe at our best and will all our players fit (Allisson, Virgil) and the likes of Jota and Thiago settled, we could totally take them.

Don't forget that they became weaker with Thiago's departure from their team (even though it's not evident in their one-team Bundesligea), and Lewandoski is a year older and not as explosive/potent.
