Jones was perfectly ok for a rookie. It’s Mo - Mané and especially Bobby. They are on half a tank.

I agree that Mané's starting to look wildly off his best, and Mo is typically either on or not there at all.

Bobby hasn't been at it for almost a year now, so saying he's "spent" isn't exactly accurate.
I'm just hoping whatever it is that's done him isn't starting to infect the other two.

That was exactly the first half I was expecting, and exactly the kind of performance that we’ve seen in recent matches.

The players do look knackered. The pointless international breaks don’t help, but let’s not forget, these guys had a huge break during lockdown. Not sure exactly how long it was.

The ball should have been cleared well before the cross came in for Gomez to head to their player. They were just ball watching instead of challenging for it.

True but Bobby was spent a year ago - and guess what happened..? Klopp kept playing him. So he has been clocking up all those miles - all those impacts with burly defenders - for another year from a starting point
Of being shattered.

Everything can be traced to a year Ago when the club failed to add to a squad that came within an inch of an incredible PL CL double. And As I said it might - it galvanised the team - and the mentality BUT now - now we see the true cost.
