So far 100% of people believe I can run a poll !!
So given the overwhelming support from the public, I must conclude I can !!

I think you have to be in desktop to make it run smoothly.

Go to post thread.
Put in a title
Put your question in the dialogue box below the title.

Scroll down the screen and you see the option for a poll and the number of reply options.

Go to submit thread.

This will bring you to an intermediary page whereby you will be asked to fill in the poll question.
Depending on the number of reply/vote options - you will have the opportunity to fill in each one

Then below this there will be a number of days for poll to close.

Below that there are options to allow for styles of poll
I forgotten the third option, but you can say 1) allow for multiple options to be selected 2) whether the vote is public (we see who votes what, my preference) or private ( we dont see who voted for what)

The you submit thread and Bob's your uncle.

There's not been a good poll for ages. Do you remember when people started making polls private due to people getting grief from certain quarters if they happened to pick a particular option?
