I don't think the status of a club is just down to success. We went 30 years without a title, but we were still a big club. And no matter how many more trophies City win, they will never be as big as United.

Stop living in the past.... it means nothing but memories and records present day and recent history is what counts when it comes to who's a bigger club not 30+ years ago we may have not won the title but we've always been up there mostly only means stuff to us fans..... not modern day players/managers
otherwise arsenal could be in league 2 and still be a bigger club...
what about forest then and some other teams in the championship?? they bigger clubs than some prem ones in the top 10??
Maybe rafa will go there? maybe some top players that could get into some sides in the top half will go to these clubs because they're a bigger club because of history?
Players/managers couldn't give a fuck about history only we do, they won't decide on a club due to history is what i'm trying to say unless rafa wants to come back to england.... if you have to decide between dortmund and arsenal there's only one winner at the moment the current better club, not the best one years ago
