If we're after a midfielder when Wijnaldum likely departs, then we are theoretically talking about two centre-backs and a midfielder, with some fans feeling we still need something else in attack.

Acquiring 4 players, with some of the financial question marks in the air, seems unlikely to me to be Honest.

Isnt 3-4 new signings normal in a summer ?

My point is if we say dont want Diop for example, then we finish 5-6th we might wait to sign say Botman/Konate who say no to us as CL clubs are in for them.

I know its not easy for anyone we can see this with pretty much zero transfers.
