We aren’t going to sign a name CB that much is obvious as ones we’d like are probably in the CL.

As for Botman he is another option and he is better than what we have.

If we got him for around £15-20m it’s a good deal as we could sell him for around that if he turned out to not be much good.

I think we are in for Botman as James Pearce has just started to follow him which is a hint but that isn’t to say we’ll sign him.

I must admit that RB defender Carragher goes on about imo he is totally over rated and no way I’d pay £50m for him.

He has played in Dutch/French league and has been called up by Holland I think it’s fair to say he is better than Williams/Phillips.
