Milner has been a rock. Think of all those penalties too -. Dependable as any player ever was. Was targeted mercilessly last night as-well - nearly bore fruit on occasion...but he steadied the ship at the back while always being a threat going forward.
What a guy - what a player. Has he been as influential as Gary McAllister ...? No ... Has he been as good a free transfer ..?. Yes and possibly the best of all.
