    20/21 Score predictions week 9 results and week 10 fixtures

    Week 9 results

    In week 8 perfect scores were hard to come by, and as I was going through everyone's predictions it was looking like week 9 was going to pan out in exactly the same fashion. Right up until the last set of predictions there had only been four perfect scores predicted, and of those four three came from the same game, that being Wolves v Southampton., however making a late burst with a week winning total, and the only person to get more than one scoreline spot on was yours truly who top scored with ten points. In joint second place on eight points apiece were Kev0909 and Reddownunder,

    Week 9 scores

    RedNoodle = 10 points (2 perfect scores and 5 correct results - Newcastle v Chelsea & Wolves v Southampton)

    Kev0909 = 8 points (1 perfect score and 5 correct results - Wolves v Southampton)

    Reddownunder = 8 points (1 perfect score and 5 correct results - Wolves v Southampton)

    Dicko1969 = 7 points (1 perfect score and 4 correct results - Wolves v Southampton)

    Fayyazms = 6 points (1 perfect score and 3 correct results - Burnley v Crystal Palace)

    Charliev = 6 points (6 correct results)

    Redebreck = 6 points (6 correct results)

    CCTV = 5 points (5 correct results)

    Balinkay = 4 points (4 correct results)

    BlackSalmon = 4 points (4 correct results)

    Justme = 4 points (4 correct results)

    Skyebo = 4 points (4 correct results)

    Ianlfc = 3 points (3 correct scores)

    Joetan = 2 points (2 correct results)

    This week's special mentions go to me, Mr RedNoodle for being the only person to not only be the only person to get more than one scoreline spot on, but to be the only person to correctly predict the Newcastle v Chelsea scoreline. Fayyazms was the only person to get the Burnley scoreline spot on, whilst CCTV and Charliev were the only people to correctly predict that Tottenham would beat Man City.

    Current standings

    At the end of week nine Kev0909 has retaken the lead atop the table, though he's only a point ahead of yours truly after my week winning total. Last years champion Reddownunder moves up a place into third, whilst CCTV drops from first to fourth. Dicko1969 now occupies the EL spot, which I am sure Balinkay will look to regain asap. After the table had closed up considerably last week, a bit of a gap has now opened between those at either end of the table, though as I said last week, all it takes is a couple of consecutive decent scores to make things look a whole lot rosier.

    Kev0909 = 56

    RedNoodle = 55

    Reddownunder = 54

    CCTV = 53

    Dicko1969 = 52

    Balinkay = 51

    Charliev = 51

    Skyebo = 49

    Fayyazms = 47

    Joetan = 47

    Justme = 47

    BlackSalmon = 44

    Ianlfc = 43

    A note to all participants

    Unfortunately things are not good with me and as a result the predictions league slipped my mind, especially as the Friday fixtures keep catching me (as well as a few others) out from time to time. I should get the fixtures up before the games kick off, but if for some reason I can't, or you would like to get your predictions in, just post them somewhere in another thread so that there is a record of them for me to check when I finally do get back up to speed.

    Sorry for any inconvenience caused by my late posting of fixtures/results.

    If you're not sure what to do with the ball, just put it in the net, and we'll talk about the other options later... Bob Paisley.
