Sad news, great memories.
I didn't feel he was always appreciated but some lovely tributes from a wide range of people today, not just Liverpool.
Spent an hour reading the tributes, very sad and only 73, he did a lot for the club, more than some realized
RIP Gerard.
One of many fine nights under him - think he was pretty much just back from his first bout of ill Health, though my memory for pre-Rafa Liverpool is quite fuzzy these days.

We had a few dust ups with Roma under him. First English team to beat them and Olympiakos away for years and years. Maybe ever.

Even when he first was manager, and I was very young, I could still tell how nice of a guy he was
