    20/21 Score predictions week 13 results and week 14 fixtures

    Week 13 results

    Whilst I described last week as being a bit of a 'mixed bag' when it came to the scores, this week was a bit more consistent, at least in terms of people being able to predict some perfect scores, with eleven out of the fourteen participants managing to get at least one scoreline spot on. However this was somewhat offset by most of the league not being to be able to back up these perfect scores with a few correct results. This was caused by a few hard to predict results, caused in no small way by a few of the 'big guns' yet again unexpectedly dropping points against unfancied opposition.

    As a result of this only one person managed to get into double figures this week, and the individual that managed this was the winner of week 13, Mr Europa League himself, Balinkay! He top scored with eleven points, namely as a result of managing to get three scores spot on. Two points further back there was a three way tie for second, with the three participants narrowly missing out on double digit scores being Reddownunder, Skyebo, and yours truly.

    This week's special mentions go to Balinkay for getting three scores spot on, and Skyebo who was the only person to correctly predict the Aston Villa v Burnley score.

    Week 13 scores

    Balinkay = 11 points (3 perfect scores and 2 correct results - Ars v Saints, Liverpool v Spurs, West Ham v Palace)

    Reddownunder = 9 points (2 perfect scores and 3 correct results - Arsenal v Southampton, Liverpool v Spurs)

    RedNoodle = 9 points (2 perfect scores and 3 correct results - Liverpool v Spurs, West Ham v Crystal Palace)

    Skyebo = 9 points (2 perfect scores and 3 correct results - West Ham v Crystal Palace, Aston Villa v Burnley)

    Joetan = 7 points (1 perfect score and 4 correct results - West Ham v Crystal Palace)

    Charliev = 6 points (1 perfect score and three correct results - Liverpool v Tottenham)

    Fayyazms = 6 points (1 perfect score and three correct results - Liverpool v Tottenham)

    Justme = 6 points (1 perfect score and three correct results - West Ham v Crystal Palace)

    CCTV = 5 Points (1 perfect result and 2 correct results - West Ham v Crystal Palace)

    Dicko1969 = 5 Points (1 perfect result and 2 correct results - West Ham v Crystal Palace)

    Ianlfc = 5 Points (1 perfect result and 2 correct results - West Ham v Crystal Palace)

    Redebreck = 3 points (3 correct results)

    BlackSalmon = 2 points (2 correct results)

    Kev0909 = 2 points (2 correct results)

    Current standings

    At the end of week 14 CCTV is still in first position, but he now has to share it (for the time being at least) with last years champion Reddownunder. The latter will hope to make that spot his own in the coming weeks as he looks to retain his title. Charliev drops to third, whilst Skyebo has moved himself into the last CL spot alongside yours truly, who himself makes his way back into one of those CL spots after a brief hiatus. Joetan meanwhile continues his ascent up the table, and he is now only two points off a European place.

    Elsewhere Balinkay has decided he needs to get a move on if he wants to claim his rightful place in the EL, and as a result of his week winning total he moves up four places into eighth, and he's now only five points adrift of his dream. After another bad week for them, both Dicko1969 and Kev0909 (who was leading until very recently) continue to drop like stones. They'll both be hoping to arrest their respective slides starting with a good week fourteen.

    CCTV = 79

    Reddownunder = 79

    Charliev = 78

    RedNoodle = 77

    Skyebo = 77

    Kev0909 = 71

    If you're not sure what to do with the ball, just put it in the net, and we'll talk about the other options later... Bob Paisley.
