I agree, but I'm not sure he will be given the time at Chelsea. He has spent a lot and is not getting them to perform. He has a really good squad there but the performances are not great. I just don't see them as a challenger this year.

Gerrard would not manage one of our rivals, he’s a scouser who has supported Liverpool all his life and as a player, when it came down to it, he couldn’t leave to win trophies elsewhere, he always said one trophy at Liverpool was worth five elsewhere.

I think he'll definitely get more time than any other manager in his place due to the enormous amount of good will he has with the fans. Even at Chelsea that counts for something.

I recon he'll be kept after this season if they finish anywhere higher than eighth and will have a chance to splurge next summer as well. But if they're mid table come November, he'll be off. Uncle Roman is ruthless.

Depends how long Klopp stays for, he's not going to stay in scotland forever, and if a big club in EPL calls for him who knows?

I wouldn't be worried about Chelsea. City are still the team to be concerned about, for me.
If Chelsea keep the squad then in another 2 years they should be competing strongly (if not next year?)
