So close to a Sheff Utd opener from McGoldrick, cleared off the line by Godfrey... and it was offside but close ish anyway

80% possession in the opening 25 for City but only one attempt at goal thus far
H/T
Sheff Utd 0-0 Cheating Bitter Thugs
Man City 1-0 Newcastle
Newcastle finished the half on the front foot and could have equalised on half time. 75% possession for City but only 4 attempts all half, the points aren’t secure just yet.
Oh and you’ll never believe this but City’s goal?
Sterling to the byline, pulled back for the oncoming midfielder to slot it in.
Incredible how they keep catching teams out with this totally new move to create a goal.
Time for the floodgates to open ?
City 2-0 Useless Geordie fuckers
What a lovable dive by Sterling...
Etiam si omnes, ego non
Sigurdson finally breaks Sheff Utd’s resistance on 80 minutes
Sheff Utd 0-1 Everton
All over and two expected results
Man City 2-0 Newcastle
Sheff Utd 0-1 Everton
Neither City or Everton totally convincing but both got the three points on offer
City may not be the free-scoring Juggernaut they once were, but they're still very much our main challenger for this League season as far as I'm concerned.
Some people point to Spurs due to what Son and Kane are managing, others to United because of their luck with injuries and decisions, others to Chelsea because of their attacking depth - but it's still City and I'll need a lot of convincing to have my mind changed.
Fact is that nobody else remotely matters provided we keep handling business. 24 League matches left - get more points from them than anyone else, acquire the Title.
That simple.
